I give up trying to figure you out,
What is going on in your mind or what you’re even about
You’re so unpredictable from one day to the next
What is going on in your head, not knowing just makes me vex
Is it your wish to be so unknown
Or is it just me that makes you as stiff as a bone
I can’t carry on with these mind games or tricks
I have to surrender or be determined to fix
If you won’t at least, meet me half way
I have no choice, I’m sorry but to surrender and stray

Sometimes we shut down and refuse to open up to the ones we love....I can feel your frustration in this piece....great poem..
