Lover's Dance

Contributed by strange_lindsey on Wednesday, 23rd June 2004 @ 05:22:17 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Two souls partaking in a chance
They find each other in a dance
Under moonlight beams and the fires glow
Showing love; movement of bodies slow.

He steps forward and she follows lead
They sway together in the moment of need
Under glittered stars and night
Sharing hope; love, life and light.

Tender circles through the park
Dancing their way from light to dark
In this sweet lovers embrace
Happiness is in reach; no longer to chase.

And through the clouds of golden seams
On all the gleaming starlight beams
Nurturing all the softened skin
A lover's dance; where both hearts win.

A wonderful dedication.

They (whomever they are) should feel proud to have such notable poems written about them.

Many thanks for writing, Lindsey, well done!

*is awestruck* Wow . . . Lindsey . . . this is beautiful.

. . . what am I saying? It's a lot more than beautiful; it's touching, romantic, near flawless, sweet . . . I love every inch of it :).

And, especially in light of recent events, you show what a good person you really are by writing this ^^. *hugs Lindsey*

This is exceedingly gorgeous, and words cannot do it justice...tears, perhaps, but nothing so simple as words or accolades. All I can say is thank you, from the depths of my soul. I absolutely love it.

Truly,
-Dan

Happiness is in reach; no longer to chase.
