Peace

Carmine-coated promises, heating up the night
Burning, arching clear over prussian tints of light
Watching in silence as we choke on our synthetic compassion
And I try to tell myself I'm dreaming
but I'm dreaming through a mire of glasshouses
What little life can I gain impaled by shards of such pathos?
And I try to tell myself I'm dreaming
but I'm dreaming through a deadbeat space
And I try to...
I try so hard to tell myself...

Will someone stop these questions that deny me peace?

Sometimes when you're pondering on something and try to find the answer in yourself, you keep finding new paths in the depths of your soul... How hard it is to find what you're looking for...the answers to the questions you only know and possess....
Good, intense poem!
Hugs,
Hur

Very nicely done. You have a way of weaving words into your poem so intricately. I love it.
