Forsaken

Contributed by Knowledge on Sunday, 20th October 2002 @ 08:45:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Day by day is how it is.
Like leaves from trees in the autumn.
They pass by so quickly. So quickly They are hard to grasp. This is how it is in my life.
Life passes by. I hardly notice it anymore. I harly notice women anymore.
Why is that?
Do I realize that they are a waste of my time? Because they have just hurt me again and again?
I have given up on them. I need time alone. And yet...I feel they, or one of them, is the key to my future. She holds the key to open the door. The door I've longed to enter my whole life. But I turn my back on her and everyone and life itself. I turn my back on her but I do not know whom she is. I do not know If I have even met her.
Now my days have ended. I can't take it one day at a time. Because my soul is lost. There is one thing I can do though. I can save someone else's. I can stop them form making the mistakes I made, so their soul is not lost too.

Dearest Knowledge....

From one lost soul to another....

I hope one day you realize the impact you make on people...with every poem you write...
with every mistake you admit to...with every experience, good and bad, you live...

One day all doors will be opened to you, and it will be your choice to walk through them...

Don't be afraid to walk.
