It was a rainy day
I was out side in the rain
with my dog and no umbrella
just an innocent cinderella
searching for a meaning
in the rain
my long blonde hair was soaking from within
the raindrops felt so cold on my skin
but I stood around
looking up
looking down
as my dog got drenched
in the rain
Finally it hit me
as I searched for my face
in the puddle
in the rain
as the drops splatted in the puddle
my face was blurred and faded apart
that may mean nothing to you
but it brought GREAT meaning to me
I realized that in the summer sun
the clouds all gone
and blue sky over head
no more rain
or dripity drains
I could see my clear image
the meaning layes here
so quick to appear
in hidden source of God
The truth betold in the rain
but not as clear on a
bluesky day
for as in life
if someone last recalles you
as cranky and appaled to
depressed and angry
they shall nt see the real image
you must be strong
and get along
with the life that jogs us by
because if they see a blue sky day
and no more rain
they admire and share your day
the bluesky is to smiles
as rain is to frowns
it drenches all around you and can always bring you down
instead of rain you should look for a blue sky day and shre it with whm ever you please

The begining was very descriptive! I like the lines about looking for your face within the puddle and it being distored. nice job! |
