You Leave a Scar

Contributed by xthe_lonely_onex on Tuesday, 22nd June 2004 @ 06:37:57 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

You leave me lying here
With this empty whole
You have created my worst fear
And that is of being alone

You keep pushing me away
While I’m trying to stay near
Maybe you will see someday
That I shed for you many tears

You won’t see me crying
Because it is not right
And the only thing you will hear is sighing
When I wish to say I love you
-when you whisper goodnight

You have moved onto her
You left so much pain
My life is now a blur
Life will never be the same

You have killed me three times
And I try to get over it
You feed me these lines
But these tears, they never quit

So open your eyes
And realize where you are
Try and stop your goodbyes
But you will always leave a scar
