Heartbreak

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I knew this when I came back
from all the heartbreak.
I knew this when you said sorry
for causing the heartbreak.
I knew this when you said come home,
there will be no heartbreak.
Is this true?
The pain of my 14th year
will never disappear.

This hurts inside even though you said sorry,
no matter it hurts inside and out,
and fills my heart with agony.
It's like a nightmare
of the day I had to leave-
packed with tears.
Pain won't heal in a year
for it hurts, hurts.

Neva,
How could you?

I dream of it
like its just another bad yesterday.
I can't forget it
for we haven't spoke of that day.
I hurt from it
because you act as if nothing happened
and you go about your days happily.
I cry from it,
my holidays are now drowning in pain.
I lost respect from it
for you hurt your own like never imagined.
I lay there, tears falling
soaking the poor pillow with pain from my heart,
but no matter how many tears I shed,
it still HURTS.

Neva,
How could you?

I loved you with all my heart.
