I am a small cellular organelle
I'm found in cytoplasm of an eukaryotic cell
Responsible for converting nutrients into a molecule
So cells are energetic with my fuel
The heavier the energy, the more I increase
So I split up into more than one piece
When I grow large they pinch me bit by bit
Until right through the middle I split
Then I must replicate my DNA
Repeating my process every day

This poem should be printed at the beginning of every biology textbook. It goes a long way in showing just how fascinating the subject can be, even at the smallest level. Your writing is cohesive and progresses nicely. As a bonus, the science survives intact--no small feat for any literary work. Fantastic! -KAC- |
