When we first met,
Our love we didn't know of yet.
We became as close as we could,
At a standstill we thought our relationship stood.
Then I gathered up my guts.
So I asked, "will you go out with me?"
Then you shouted with glee and said, "surely"
Now that we're together as one,
We never stop having fun.
I hope our love will continue for the rest of my life,
Hopefully one day, you will become my wife.
Even now that we've tied the knot,
And we're getting older there is a lot I've forgot.
But I'll never lose the feelings that came into my heart,
When our relationship first did start.
No matter how angry we'd get,
We decided to always stick with it.
We still are depending on love,
Which is why we’ll be together until we ascend to a life above.
