Handle With Care

Contributed by pixie on Tuesday, 22nd June 2004 @ 11:58:16 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Please handle me with care,
I am a porcelain teddy bear,
I need to cared for & I must be loved,
Shown affection by receiving a hug.

I am like a china doll,
Hurt & pain will quickly take toll,
If I am not looked after properly,
Please refrain from ever dropping me.

Show me you love me every day,
Don’t leave me & don’t throw me away,
I need your love forever more
Please tell me you’ll never shut your door?

I am delicate like a flower,
Give me your love in a shower,
Tell me you’ll always be there,
And that you are not going anywhere.

My heart is easily bruised,
Please don’t leave me feeling used,
Cushion my heart with your passion,
Let me know your love is not on ration.

Please take me &hold me in your arms,
Keep me away from any sort of harm,
Squeeze me, adore me & hold me tight,
Make sure I sleep soundly all through the night.
