The Ladyboy

Contributed by pixie on Tuesday, 22nd June 2004 @ 11:56:44 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

To look at her you’d never know,
That inside male hormones flow,
She is in fact a lady boy,
Changing sex isn’t filled with joy.

As a child he never felt comfortable,
He was seldom happy & often dull,
No-one knew the secret he carried around,
Struggling on, without making a sound.

He used to dress in his mothers clothes,
When he was alone, so no-one could know
That he was trapped in the wrong body,
And dressing up was more than a hobby.

One day someone discovered his secret,
This was too juicy to just couldn’t keep it
This news spread like wild fire,
He was branded a freak, pervert & a liar.

He was beaten black & blue,
There was simply nothing he could do,
He tried to go on with his head held high,
But alone at night he’d sit there & cry.

Contemplating ending all of his pain,
So he’d never face the bullying again
He longed to just be accepted,
Instead of being constantly rejected.

As he got older he met others like him,
His life started looking less grim,
He learnt to be happy with what he was,
& that it’s no-ones business what he does.

Good poem. Caught me off guard, but you wrote it good, with great moral.
