Everything reminds me of the desire left in me
I’ve made it so obvious that it seems to be shrouded
I speak of sunsets and beauty
And it only reminds you of all the time you wasted
All the waste time spent on me
You were the only precious thing I’ve ever held
And I only had you for such a short time
Well if I had a soul to sell
I’d hand it over for you to be mine
So here’s to new beginnings that never start right
Here’s to that night that we spent inside
Your parent’s house
When I failed to understand
That I was never part of your heart
And all the damaged that you could have done
Would have been better than leaving me alone
The instructions on my back say
”you need only to cut once, straight across the wrist”
But I don’t need to live any longer
Cause the pain I’ve felt is more than a lifetimes worth
I pray to god that there was something you could do
But I’m lost now.

Deeply moving and grievous. Well penned.
But please see the pain and darkness through. See it as an offer to become truer. This kind of thing is like refining fire when you want to learn from it. Look to God for comfort. He will help you through.
Take care now.
