You were someone I trust
Why do you think you must
Lie to me
Could you not see
You don’t have to be
Someone else around me
It hurts that you wont tell me to my face
The words just cant erase
You talk behind my back?
Supposedly it’s a fact
Tel me how you feel
Don’t make a big deal
But you’ve broken the seal
Of my trust
These words hurt me
But not as must as you see
It hurts more that you lied
You never even tried
You didn’t have to lie
Its not like you can buy
My trust
Cause this is real
I’m making it a big deal
Cause now I feel
Betrayed and used too.
So I’ll do what you ask
And I’ll wear a mask,
Pretending I don’t know you
I wont bother you
Or say a word to you too.
I just wanted to make you feel
Theres something real
That I really care
But it just isn’t fair
Cause lies from you I just cant bare.
