Just Like You've Left Me

Contributed by Dead_Next_Tuesday on Monday, 21st June 2004 @ 03:28:10 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Mangled, like your favorite toy
Warped, like your perverse mind
Sadistic, like your wicked smile
Bloody, like your sliced up legs
Isolated, like your lonely life
Forgotten, like all your old worries
Alone, like your lost soul
Crimson, like your twisted insides
Morbid, like all the things you write
Cold, like your honest heart
Used, like all your old habits
Shattered, like every one of your dreams
Mistaken, like your deceiving mask
Dying, like your shell of a person
Unknown, like your every want
Murdered, like your best friends
Evil, like your darkest secrets
Yearning, like your aching heart
Broken, just like you’ve left me

For some reason I really enjoyed this. I loved the endless string of similes made for an angry, rough, but enjoyable read.
