flee the melodrama.
i escape to my solitude.
these four walls restrain my thoughts.
double check the lock.
i cannot face the world today.
this is war
i've learned to run. to hide. to fear.
the knife in my back--pull it out.
watch me bleed.
cause i cannot live when i cannot see.
these chains around my wrists i cannot break.
i cannot move to pick the locks.
smother me with lies,
but take away the truth.
hide away my cure.
i've tightly locked the door,
now i'm leaving through the window.
on the run again
with only blood on my side.
