Two sides of a penny, that’s what we are,
I’d will to go if you proposed to stay,
We’re so close, yet we think so far,
Lest your answer be affirmative, mine will be ‘nay’
Two sides of a penny, we’re equally strong,
There’s always a fifty-fifty chance,
It’s impossible for us to stand near and get along,
When we won’t even spare each other a glance
Two sides of a penny; we’re divided in a bond,
One side is up, while the other kisses the floor,
We’ve stuck together since days loathed and fond,
They say opposites attract, is that so?
