AN EMPTY CUP

Contributed by emystar on Monday, 21st June 2004 @ 02:03:05 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

White Dove

SultryRose's Signatures

Tears stream for hours
Jus longing to feel
a human touch.
My animals truely care.
They show me so much.

Sitten alone with
an old empty cup
like a begger in peices
left alone out there.
Sitten alone with an
emppty cup

Seeking not money
a touch of love
will do jus fine
Been loving long
but where's mine?

Broken peices so
very deep inside
Well it's bubbling up
Jus maybe luv will
fill my empty cup.

Ah, I know the feeling! Take care, my friend. God will give you light soon. And you will be the better for the sadness you have seen.
(at least I'm hoping that's the answer)

Well written. Blessings
Andrew

It is so hard when emotions become strained and raw. I hope you will be feeling better soon, my friend.

Your poem sadly heard by these ears. Hope you're alright. God bless you girl. Things will look up soon, nothing last forever and that includes bad days. I pray you sleep well, or decent. take care.

Wow, I really liked this one . . . so sad . . . but beautifully written :). Like someone else said, I loved the part, "Sitten alone with
an old empty cup
like a begger in peices
left alone out there."

This was a great poem and I hope your days start looking up and soon . . .

One day I will sit and read all your poems, and on that day I will cry a little, and laugh a little, but I will be a better person at the end.
Fantastic poem, so sweet and sad, excellent!!
