~Losing hope~
You etched your name in my heart,
so I tattooed your name on my chest.
One day you said we would never part.
Now you treat me like a guest.
I would look at you as you passed by,
and I knew I could feel the heat flow.
But now every time I catch your eye,
it feels like it's twenty below.
Can't you see what you've done to me?
How much do you think I can take?
There is nothing in this world, you see,
for these chains wrapped around me-to break.
Do these words make any sense?
Can I express in this way what i'm thinking?
There once was a time I was on the fence.
But now, my hope for true love is sinking.
