mary had
mary had a little pope his robes were white as snow
and every where that mary went the pope was sure to go
he followed her to church one day it was against the rule
made the local parish priest feel just like a fool
to the pope he said
the truth i dread
you're playing a little fast and loose
you see mary dear
she's a little queer
she's in love with mother goose
oh the pope he said
the truth i dread
i thought she was little bo peep
i followed her around
nose to the ground
cause i just love her sheep baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa
