Deep into the darkness dreaming,
Lying on my back and thinking,
Why must life be so unwanted?
None but those who death affronted.
So dream on no thought of waking,
‘Bout the ones content on taking.
Out into the blackness crying,
No more dreams but go on lying.
Alone in my broken pieces
Wrapped up in my blanket’s creases
In the pool from my tears writ
What puzzles do my pieces fit?

Oh, I'm afraid I cannot be subjective here... I am a huge EAP fan! I think this is quite awesome... of course though, you had me with the comment! lol!!!!
What puzzles do my pieces fit?
Ohhhhhh... I love that line! I posted a poem called "Pieces" a while back --- I boldly suggest that I know exactly where your mind was when you wrote that line!
