Happy Father's Day, Dad

Contributed by RhythmBndt on Sunday, 20th June 2004 @ 06:24:41 PM in AEST
Topic: FathersDayPoems

Happy Father's Day Dad
You know who you are
I miss you very much
Even though you're not that far

I haven't seen you in a few weeks
Sadly it feels more like months
You & I have been though alot
& yes we have made it through

Mom looks down upon us
Each & everyday
She's see how great of a person you are
& none of us care what others say

She's up there watching over us
Waiting for our turn
Once that time comes, we'll be a family again
Just the three of us & no one else

Happy Father's Day, Dad
I love you very much
I'll give you a phone call sometime
I hope we get together soon

This is a great write: I think of my dad sometimes he passed in 1985. I still can't bring myself to put the one song I dedicated to him on site, even after 19 years I still miss him.
