Dad

~~~~~~~~Dad~~~~~~~~~
He’s alive in my memory
Alive in my heart
Alive in my every fiber
We’re never ever far apart
How can I explain to you
How much he means to me
The way he always urges me on
To be the best I can be
When he died I thought I’d lost
The greatest friend I ever had
Aww but then I did not know
The power of my dad
Today he still walks with me
Guiding, influencing how I behave
And I’ve found within his principles
Priceless treasures that I save
Even now I feel his touch
His guiding hand upon me every day
And know without any doubt
He’s with me all the way
Russ
