We looked up from our gondola, a beautiful sight in view
The magnificent Rialto Bridge, there for just us two
How many times had we dreamed, that under this bridge we would meet
The reality of it happening, made my heart just skip a beat
How wonderful it is, when your Dreams Come True
This one in particular, because I am here with you
In this beautiful Venetian city, to have our Dreams Come True
Picked by you, a fantastic lady, for this romantic rendezvous
Your beauty, intelligence and candor, make you one of a kind
Someone in my lifetime, I thought I would never find

I really enjoyed this. It was almost like being there, what with the vivid imagery you conjured up, and the smooth rhyme and meter employed to construct a poem worthy of another read in the future.
