Tiptoeing Around What We Both Might Feel

Can't we erase the words not meant
Can't we accept what we got dealt
And rearrange the letters
once intentionally put together to express frustration
Priceless is the knowledge of creation
of the tingling of the muscle
responsible for the crazy things I do
And whatever in this moment I feel for you
It would be so easy
If we didn't have to tiptoe around
what we both might feel
To not deny the thrill
Each time eyes meet,
hearts skip a beat,
and every inch of the distance
disappearing the closer that you sit
