As she gazes upon me with deep dark eyes
I feel the day swiftly passing by.
The night falls quickly with it’s silvery moon,
As the time passes in late June.
As I feel the darkness of one’s eye.
The night is breezy and cold,
As the shadows stay bold.
Feeling not what one should feel,
But feeling what darkness reviles.
As I feel the darkness of one’s eye.
Now the new day begins to bring,
The light of life and birds that sing.
As the dark turns into light,
I gaze upon the world so bright.
As I feel the darkness of one’s eye.
