This may heal a wound

Topic: FathersDayPoems

I know you’ve wanted to be there
In the good times and bad
And I know you wanted to help me when I’m sad.
Things have been rough
And there have been many fights
But the two of us have been tough
By the end of each day
I know we’ve though about each other at least once
Saying why can’t things be the way they used to be
And what did I do wrong
It’s hard to say what happened for I don’t even know
The feelings that have been felt and the emotions I will not show
I know I truly love you
And I know you love me.
The past is the past for a reason
But there are still some things to discuss
One thing that cant be touched though is the fact that
Yes. My love for you is unconditional.
Many people have told me what to say and do
But in my heart I know this will always work out
This is hard for me right now
I’m so confused and I don’t know where to turn
But I know deep down we are on a good start
So let this poem say that we must be strong
We have to talk and we have to move on
Don’t tell me how you feel now,
Just wait and think this over
I’ve been hurt by what’s been said and done
And I’m still feeling the pain of the last 4 years
It can’t be overcome in a night
But I know it will in time
Have a happy fathers day
And let this be a start to
A true relationship that will never stop;
I’m your daughter and you’re my father
Lets keep it that way now and forever
Time heals all wounds; therefore this may take a while
But with strength and determination, it will come true
My last line of this poem to you is that
I love you.

It is a good expression of emotion, but hard to read. Maybe revise it and break up some lines? I think that might help it flow.
