To all the Poets out There
Dark clouds form
Severe winds storms trees uprooted
Homes ripped a part by the severe blows
Rains forcing the river‘s to over flow
Destruction for all in its path
Is it Gods way of telling us?
That all we take for granted in life
Can be taken away by his command
And the wave of his hand
Why does so much evil lurk with in our mist?
God gave us the gift of life along with all we need
To nurture our body’s and our souls
Yet so many carry so much greed and hate
With Wars, Hate, Corruption
Drugs dealers taking over and
Destroying so many lives
Are we a lost generation of people
Remember Gods words
Love one another as I have loved you
As poets we have the power
Of the pen we hold in our hands
Make good use of it
Who better to spread the word of love and peace?
Than a poet
God Bless you one and all

| i agree with some of the things you stated. poets cannot spread love and peace if the readers do not want to listen to it. people live in denial about what is really there. |

I agrree with you free spirit people are destroying this world with hate and greed.
Nothing we write will stop the evil in this world.
Stop the drug dealers selling.
Stop wars
There is a higher power that deals with all these things sad but true.
As poets we can spread the word if it helps conform one person then our words have reached a heart.
