Images fill the blank TV screen,
shadows erupt from the wall.
Whispers float around my head,
my eyes squeezed shut,
taking everything in.
Laughter explodes.
My lips turn cold.
Tears of blood stream down my face.
The floor seems so far away.
I gasp for air.
but emotional stress has caused this collapse.
My eyes open to a sea of red.
Fire burning like hell.
With no point to live by,
with no point to what this is;
I give in...

| Actually the poem is the point. It's a panic attack. I've had four. I'm a schizoid/ borderline, and what you have just wrote here is why I take valium. LMAO. Okay, enough of that. It was a good read, all in all. 7 outa 10. |
