Watching my life go
as I fall into the icy depths
of misery and insanity.
Nothing can stop me as I float
away into the black.
A thousand knives pierce my skin.
Guilt seeps into my collapsing veins.
Pain becomes numb,
and I plunge to the bottom.
No longer fighting to stay
above the pressure.
Giving in is the only way to release
this demon.

The ending is strong. Some gramatical errors, but save that, it's an excellent read. Something to ponder over.
