Fairy Tale

Contributed by Luinil on Friday, 18th June 2004 @ 07:25:24 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Dragons, elves, horses with wings,
Magickal wizards and noblest kings
Music and dancing ‘round fiery blaze
Laughter-filled nights and tireless days

Faeries in hiding amid moonlit trees
Gnomes with their pipes, resting in lilies
Stem, root, and stone sharing deepest connection
Child, beast, and nature linked in perfection

Lord, lady and squire treated with reverence
Living and dying, honoring balance
Untainted love crossing eons of life
Roving oceans and lands to end its strife

Time steals children’s unveiled eyes
Logical tyranny and part of you dies
Reason blinds vision, sun never shines
You keep your reality; I’ll live in mine.

I love this one! I completely understand how you feel, put in a few more dark creatures and you have me! your word flow gets tripped up a couple of times but other than that, awsome.
