I heard about this fountain one time.
The people that drink from it,
They are destined to live forever.
I also heard about a place
Where people truly love
And can be wholly trusted.
It’s crazy how people talk
These days,
Like all these things
That could never happen,
Might some day
Come true.

I felt a deep sadness in this one. Almost a resignation to fate.
Very well done

Oft it seems this way. I still search for it though. Perhaps it doesn't exist, but even so, those who keep searching come a little closer than those who don't search at all.
Maybe what we really need is a wellspring of hope and endurance, to keep it all up.
I like this poem, though. It expresses the feeling well.
Take care now.
