Listen, can you hear?
Echo sounds here
It´s you again walking
To your land secret
Long stairs down
You always walked
On one of each stair
Candle you found
Listen, now can you hear?
Echo sounds here
Your heart´s loud beat
And your knees shivering
You lightened candle
Put it on your parth
They illumined the way
To your paradise
Strain your ears, can you hear?
No, as your eyes deceive you
The candles are going out
And strangles you fear
No, you can´t hear,
Burtn ones you count down
While another ones
Lighten up your new path
No, this stream of tears
Will douse the blaze
Your paradise comes to end
And darkness will govern again
Don´t read their shape
Don´t measure brightness
Don´t trust the wind
Don´t look for fairness
By wax trickled down
In your paradise
Once for ever written
Will be all memoirs
Poslouchej, slyšíš?
Ozvěna se rozléhá,
To jak znovu kráčíš
Do svého tajemna
Dlouhé schodiště dolů
Po kterém kráčelas
Vždy na jednom ze schodů
Svíčku nalezlas
Slyš, tak už slyšíš?
Ozvěna se rozléhá,
Jak tvé srdce buší
A třesou se ti kolena
Zapálilas svíčku
Na cestu postavila
Ony ozářily cestičku
S každou blíže jsi ráji byla
Napni sluch, slyšíš?
Ne, protože mámí tě zrak
Svíčky dohasínají
A tebe dusí strach
Bývalas šťastná
A úsměvem jiskrným
Očima jasnýma
Rozdávala ses svícím
Ne, neslyšíš, nemůžeš
Protože počítáš zhasínající
Na cestičku jinou teď
Ty zbylé ti svítí
Ne, ten potok slzí
Uhasí jejich zář
Tvé tajemno udusí
Zavládne temnota zas
Nečti v jejich tvaru,
Neměř světlost
Nevěř větru
Nehledej spravedlnost
Z vosku skapaného
Ti jednou pro vždy
V tvém ráji zapsané
Zůstanou vzpomínky
