Never Knew

Contributed by pixie on Friday, 18th June 2004 @ 11:34:28 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I was a romantic until I met Mark,
He led me to the light from the dark,
Showed me how to dance amongst the stars,
He began the healing process of all my scars.

He paints a rainbow wherever he walks,
Speaks right to my heart when he talks,
Lights fires with the warmth of his eyes,
Covers the sky in an array of butterflies.

Melts the ice with his touch,
Makes me appreciate life so much,
With him there is no wanting to go astray,
He gives me the world& with him I’ll forever stay.

I never knew that love felt like this,
That I could go weak from one man’s kiss,
He spins my head round &round,
Whispers into my ear the sweetest sound.

The sound of I love you,
Every time he says it, I feel brand new,
I fall deeper love with him with each beat of my heart,
Cupid has definitely shot me with his love dart.
