The love you once had for me
Will be lost and forever gone
You will forget our relationship
And slowly begin to move on
Inside I will fight a battle
That will rip and tear me apart
Because I will know I lost
The greatest love that existed in my heart
Forever my emotions will stay
Hidden deep inside
I’ll be too afraid to show
The love I know I’ll hide
“We were meant to be”
And I know that you are right
You’re the only one
I think about every night
If your days are ever dark
Remember I’m not too far
And know we’re meant to be together
Like the heavens and the stars
