Topic: selfstruggles

I sit and stare at the clock waiting for results.
Nothing has showed any sign of what I have.
Testing, more blood drawn.
Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months.
I am slowly dying.
Doctors start to worry, what is wrong with this young girl?
I am sent to another hospital, then another.
More biopsies.
Finally a breakthrough, I could possibly need a transplant.
If treatment works, I might be okay.
The treatment is slowly working, although it has been a long six months.
I am going back to see in October if I need the transplant.
Now at night I sit and wonder, will I ever be a normal girl again.
My medicine feels like it is hurting more than helping.
I do know one thing alone, God is the reason I have continued to make it this long.
Why do I have this cronic disease?
I will continue to fight, weather or not I make it another year.
I am not afraid of death, it does not scare me it is only the begining to my eternity.
I may die and I may live.
I can only ask God everynight for the one thing people take for granted.
I am a young teenage girl I don't want clothes, a car, or money.
All I simply want is my health.

Health is precious, its sad that now in this modern world people tend to forget its importance. Money,as you said and wealth are at the top on the priority list. What a shame.
My prayers go out to you, I truly hope you will recover.
Get well soon, live each day at a time and God will guide you thorugh.
Great write, so honest and heartfelt.

I know many adults that would be incapable of presenting themselves in as mature a manner as you just have. I pray for your renewed health and continued faith.
