Flowing

Torn out of peace into a gentle pool
Gently rocking to the stream
Flowing faster, tossing back and forth
Fight rapids and sharp rocks
Screaming, hurled down, down
Pool of predators waiting to catch
Fight to stay above, gasping for air
Float back to the quiet pool
Slowly swaying, engulfed by sleep
