Today is a new day
A day of new beginnings
A day of new life
You have arrived
In my world of despair
I have cried
And I have wondered
What am I to do?
You arrived at a time
When I needed someone
Someone to hold
Someone to care for
My life is better
But could change
Change at anytime
But it no longer matters
For you are with me
And I am free
Free to be open
Open once more
