craving for what i've never tasted

Topic: LovePoetry

watching your eyes follow me
and your lips as you speak
never! have i met someone with the personality you flaunt
you're so different, but you are the definition of HOT
i can't fall for you, you're not like my others

yet i walk away
feeling more than high
from the touch of you on i
it was just a simple kiss
but it gave my stomach butterflies
i can't fall for you, you're not like my others

we're gonna have to meet up again some time
as my tongue played with my teeth
my voice sounding nervous
as i looked at my feet
*breathe*
i have to show you my world
and you show me yours
i explained:
don't get me wrong this has nothing to do with touching,
feeling, tasting any of you
and yes i would mind...i would mind a lot
because you're not like my others

i jus got an infatuation with your smile
your eyes, watching your lips as you talk
of what could be of tomorrows sunrise
i'm addicted to your voice the curve of your cheeks
and the way your hair falls into your eyes
i didn't find myself feeling this with my others

at first i desired nothing more than to talk
but we walked, talked and you kissed me goodnight
and after you walked away...i was glad
you were nothing like my others

*oh the joy of finding someone different from the rest
(david) my apprimelon flavored kiwi

I enjoyed it all but I loved stanza four. Keep writing.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
