Her scars

She pulls her sleeves to cover the scars
Of a life she left far behind,
Not wanting the world to see
What roads she has been down.
Yet she opens her soul to me
And allows me to view her pain.
Insolently I try to heal her
Even though she asks not for my help.
Maybe that's what pushes her away...

i can relate a lot to your friend i think... don't give up on her.. she'l thank you in the end.
