I saw a cricket in the grass strumming his insrument, playing his song.
Cirping a tune that isn't a tune, but soft sweet notes.
I got out my harmonica and started to play along.
He didn't do anything else for his song to which he devotes,
playing playing those soft, sweet jumbled notes.
And we played and we played, and played all day ,
O, but if I could, I would take opportunity and stay.
