What I need to do is wake up and see
Everything where it should be.
I need to know that you love me, your feelings you need to share,
In times that I need you most you are never there.
So what I need most is to know that you care.
I need to know that I will not be alone
And that one day you will come home
I don’t mean to be like this
I’m sorry but my heart is a mess
Try as I might I just don’t see
If with me is where you want to be
My tears fall from the my eyes,
Am I the only one who cries?
Do you feel anything at all?
Why don’t you answer when I call?
Can you handle the problems of this heart?
Do I keep on loving you or do I try to stop?
Will you please just put your arms around me?
Please baby please for look and see me.
See that in your arms is my safe place,
Don’t leave me all alone with nothing to fill you space.
Come home to me hold me tight,
Tell me its all gonna be alright.
Dry these tears that fall
Comfort my fears, that one day I will wake up
And you won’t love me anymore.
