I love the colors blue and green,
But I live in the colors of black and gray.
My room is brown, my floor is black,
Until I tried to get you back.
I worked my way to being your friend,
And now I can see you again.
You made me laugh, you made me cry,
You made me wish and wonder why.
But now I can see clearly again,
Things aren’t the same as they had been.
My room is now orange and red,
With a floor of purple, and green for the bed.
I got you back, your mine to love,
And I thank god, from up above.

| The divided and standardized style and spacing really added a splendid touch to this piece; colors are a great depiction of what the speaker is feeling. I loved it. |
