Sunderson Park is the place to embark
For a ride to the moon on a lunar baloon,
We shall land on the moon in a crater by noon,
We shall look for the dish that ran with the spoon.
Completing the task there'll be no one to ask,
Thus homeward we'll go like an arrow in snow
On our trusted baloon and it can't be too soon
to retrieve the fair spoon and return from the moon.
Some do not care if the spoon be returned
Some do not care if a lesson be learned ,
In point of fact tools left unracked,
Is sloppy as dirt and shows lack of good tact.

You've taken us on a lovely ride,
but also shown us your neater side
This story is told with words of the heart
and a good lesson, too, it does impart

18ptThis poem gets all the marks I'm allowed which is five.
I'd loved to have gone with you Norm, next time I won't hide. you see I was scared of your driving.....I knew you could pilot a boat, but wasn't sure about the wings on the outside.
This was a very delightful write.
I'll never look at the moon again.....without wishing I'd hitched a ride!
Poetic hugs
