Every rose has its thorn,
So goes the song by Poison....
I think I've found more than one
In my life.
If life can be considered a rose,
Then obstacles are thorns,
And the thorns are aplenty in mine....
Kid Rock tells me
Only God knows why,
And I think we have that in common....
Smoking my cigarette,
Wishing I hadn't screwed up
All that I had....
Proof that I'm still young and think I know it all,
But I didn't know how good I had it....
Everything I do, I do it for you,
Just like Bryan Adams sang,
But sometimes I don't do
Exactly what I intend to do....
But I try to do
Anything and everything to keep your love....
I've had the best of intentions,
Just as did Travis Tritt,
But I didn't expect the pain I'd cause
When I didn't
Think my plan all the way through.
So please forgive me,
I know not what I do,

Until I've done it and see that I've hurt you....
And it hurts me
To see you cry when I ruin everything
The way I always seem to do....

i think most of us have the "rose problem"
and I liked the musical mentions
but
keep your head high
may you always be strong of heart
and know that you are loved

Bryan, you shouldn't blame yourself...I think we both screwed up...I wrote a poem for you, so you might wanna check it out...maybe it'll help set your mind at ease. At the moment it's the only one I've posted, but in case I post another before you get around to reading it, it's called Wishful Thinking...I love you, but I know you'll be a lot happier with Dez...that's just how it is.

this is a good poem. again i'm sorry that things have happened to u to make u write an appology poem. it's hard sometimes to just live life. just try to move on and then life will get better. nice poem, and again if u ever just want to talk, i am here to talk. any time. keep up the good work with ur writing.
