I know that you are hurting,
Can see it in your eyes,
I can see right through,
Your fake, flimsy disguise,
I know now that you want to,
But don't know how to start,
I can only guess, though,
How it's tearing you apart,
I see your fingers trembling,
As you reach out your hand,
You don't have to worry,
I'll try to understand,
I know more than you think,
But please do not be scared,
I will only stand here waiting,
Till you realize that I care,
And if you still decide,
That you can't let it go,
I'll still stand beside you,
Content with what I know.
