Theres a light in everyone,
that tries to shine bright,
Brighter then the morning sun,
all through the hours of the night,
The light is deep within,
that you need to find,
shadows surrounded by sin,
this light will surely blind,
Find the light in yourself,
keep it safe from harm,
you wont find it on a shelf,
Its in your heart where its warm,
We all have this light inside,
we just need to look deep,
dont ever try to hide,
for its a light we all need to keep!

Christina, this is so terrific. We should all fan our flame of life and keep it glowing bright to wipe out all the darkness of life. We recieve a gift of life and the ability to make it what we want. I wish everyone would burn a huge flame to light the way for the ones still in the dark. Great poem.
