Love,an illusion.
a marrage for the weak minded.
forced to grab a glimmer of hope,
a glimmer of wanting.
love,a selfish act of desperation to keep someone.
a harmless clinging, a burning scar.
Love,a glimmer of faith
a worthless emotion, to good to hate,
yet so hateful to be good.
Love,lasts past a day
then is gone in an hour.
hunts you in the night.
killsyou in your sleep
and stabs you in the back...
True love,lasts a life time
keeps you safe and warm
gives you light in the dark and is always there.
in the search for this true love
you have to deal with the love that hurts.

Amen! I cannot abide the way 'love' is used these days. True Love is no feeling, no selfish gratification. It is only attained by selflessness. Excellent job.
