Truth: A Meaningless Word

A world full of plastic people
Deception a given
I search for the truth
Only to find more lies
Appearances really mean nothing
Only a shroud of concealment
It would be great if they did
Less questions, less unwanted answers
Concepts are false
Reality, a pastime
We live in a mathematically incomputable world
There are more dimensions than one could imagine
I sometimes sit and ponder
Wondering why we can't comprehend each other
Each day I wake up in dismay
I find more questions than answers
We assume our dreams are based on life
A continuation of our thoughts into sleep
Each day I find the cycle to have tilted further
Soon life will be a continuation of our dreams
Garbled thoughts and images
A twister of misunderstandings
Our souls must be permeated by sunshine
Like the walls of the room, they are colorless without light
By the way,
A void of darkness encompasses the world

Good poem. I feel this way about the world often. Perhaps one day we can all be honest with each other and stop playing computer games. |
