Breath of sweet air

Contributed by desertwispers on Tuesday, 15th June 2004 @ 01:26:02 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Ohhhhhh thunder at last dark clouds pass
open the door for that fresh smell of rain
inhale exhale perfectly sustained
cleanse the room freshen the lungs
clear the dry dirt and sand from the air
I almost fall to my knees and beg
for a few raindrops out there
I will run barefooted fancy free
through the grass as the rain falls over me
releasing something restless I only see
just for the pure pleasure of pattering rain
I love the sound of the the thunder
the electricity in the air just rain, pour please
Ill follow your sweet fragrance anywhere
drive it down hard onto this sandy desert ground
bring forth a flood I dont care
boom loud and shake the windows
tell us all to beware of your power
yes I hear it I see it I smell it fresh sweet
rain showers coming for me
Ill end for now Iv got a date with the rainmaker
until we meet again Im going to soak some skin

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
