World of Pink

Contributed by Ethereal_Engine on Tuesday, 15th June 2004 @ 11:32:14 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Like a burning ember in the minds eye that’s cool to the touch. A lush scenery with a tinge of pink that makes all that can be touched turn to metallic liquid like water droplets floating at zero G. Below your feat the grass turns to a fine pink powder making your passage like walking on air. As you look back at your steps you see that only four remain as the ones further back have reformed into the blades they once were. Spheres of all sizes begin to materialize like the divine magick of high wizards. They as if made from the same substance as the grass turn to powder as they hit your body. Curiously enough the powder doesn't stick, but wraps around your form and reintegrates behind your back. A pink watered lake comes into view and you kneel by the waters edge to drink from its sweet smelling depths. From cupped hands you take a deep drought of the aromatic liquid. Its taste is like cotton candy with a hint of mint. As it travels down your thought you can feel its magick in your very veins. You suddenly feel more alive at that very moment then you have in your entire life. In your enthusiasm you leap into the air and dive head first into the lake. Inside the luminous pool you expect to be chilled and soaked from head to toe, but once again the world of Pink shines new light on common occurrences. Instead of getting wet your body stays dry and the very same invigoration that was felt when you drank from its surface is all about you never ceasing to be. The waters clearly touch your skin as you raise a hand to your amazed eye to see if this magical water is real. Strange as it seems no drop ever touched your skin, it’s as if you were standing on dry land. In reverence of this kingdom of softer rules and peaceful nature, you stand on the surface of the pink lake, on top of the water which never touches the skin, with arms raised above your head in complete harmony with the world around you and laugh to your hearts content.
